Gift Shop-

I do not sell reproductions! Each item is made by me - just me. The only things I do not do are welding and lost wax casting. (I have learned my limitations!) Those sorts of "jobs" are done in a shop that specializes in that sort of thing by some lovely men whose chief joy in life is to play with things that are very, very hot and often very sharp! And I am thankful for them.

If you have questions- or trouble ordering something- please contact me and let me know. I probably will never know there is a problem if you don't tell me directly.

11 3/4" X 11 3/4" X 5 1/8" Large hand formed whiteware bowl with added foot. Abstracted foliate sgraffito drawing through light blue terra sigillata with colored oxide inlay. Clear glazed.

ORCHID


10 1/8 x 10 1/4 x 2 Hand formed whiteware unfooted plate. Exterior- slip painted in earth red and blue green. Sgraffito drawn rose bush motif. Clear glazed. Interior- slip dotted in grey green, painted in lavenders and sienna. Orchid motifs sgraffito drawn through lavender and sienna areas. Song celadon glazed.

MALMSEY MAMBO


10 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 3 1/2" Whiteware hand built vessel with slab runners and boss additions to the pinched rim. Painted with red earth and Kentucky River native clay terra sigillata. Stamped with black underglaze color, then sgraffito drawn.Clear glazed. MALMSEY-the sweetest variety of Madeira wine. MAMBO- you know...the dance with the infectious rhythm.

Seaside Dawn


16" necklace made with 9mm freshwater warm grey nugget pearls flanked by 4mm round red poppy jasper beads, 6 x 7.5mm kite grey moonstone beads, featuring a 10mm SS center bead with crystal insets. SS fishhook filigree clasp. Assembled. Pearls are nubbly as nugget pearls always are. Beautiful luster with pink overtones. AA grade pearls.

17 1/2" 5mm warm white near round freshwater pearls, 3 1/2 - 5 1/2mm graduated round and faceted natural ruby beads, 3mm and 2mm 14k yellow gold beads with 14k yellow gold filigree fishhook clasp. Assembled. Near round pearls are lustrous and smooth with a slight bluish tone that works very well with the rubies. AAA grade pearls.

Dawn Jumps Up


Hand made post earrings in 14k red, white, and yellow gold with 3.6cts of Turchesa di Syracusa Turquoise. Dimensions: 15mm x 23mm. The turquoise is a very fine grain and excellent natural color; and the bezel settings are not static - they swing back and forth. Fun!

7mm pewter grey freshwater button pearls suspended from 5mm 14k yellow gold posts. 14k yellow gold dangle setting. 1 1/4" overall length. Pearls are well matched, smooth and lustrous with muted raspberry and gold overtones. Formal enough, yet fun. Great with almost all skin tones - but avoid if your hair is very grey. AAA Grade pearls.

10.5 X 8mm green/black peacock freshwater drop pearls suspended from 14k yellow gold filigree posts. Assembled. Wonderful color play,raspberry and olive overtones! Very unusual. Fairly well matched (remember I am very picky). They read as well matched when worn. Formal and elegant. These would look great on most skin tones and with most clothing - not just "the green dress". AA Grade pearls with subtle rings.

Exceptional luster, very well matched in size and shape. 3/4" in overall length. Absolutely gorgeous! Take them dancing - to a wedding - on a date.... AAA Grade pearls.

Assembled. Pearls have a subtle glow and are mostly smooth with a few small voids which are not noticeable when worn. AA grade pearls.
