I do, on occasion, accept commissions. All work is done by me, alone. The only exception is casting of jewelry pieces, if the piece is designed in wax. It all depends on what it is. Generally- paintings take longer than ceramics or most jewelry. Some jewelry items may take quite a while - if the item is more sculptural in concept. Assembled pieces normally don't take much time at all. Ask about how long your request might take.
Prices are entirely dependent on materials and time. Generally, I do not charge for consultation. If you decide to go forward with the contract- 1/2 of the final price is due on the signing of the contract. This amount is not refundable after a 48 hour "change your mind" period. This amount will be used to purchase materials and to pay overhead while I work on your commission. I do not charge a "per hour" wage. I do not do "work for hire" pieces. I retain all copyrights, unless they are purchased separately.
More details on specifics will be made available on an individual basis. If you have further questions, please contact me either through the blog page or the contact page.
Thank you.
